Toulouse – between the Atlantic and the MediterraneanThere is a huge amount to see in Toulouse-Blagnac, such as its magnificent townhouses, brick and stone churches and well-stocked museums. Just 160 m from the Capitol you’ll find the world-renowned ‘Notre-Dame du Taur’ church. If you take a walk through the historic old town, you’ll pass by the ‘Ensemble Conventuel des Jacobins’ church, the Carmelite chapel and St-Etienne’s Cathedral. Toulouse-Blagnac’s cuisine is just as authentic. Taste some foie gras, duck breast, Toulouse sausage and try the local wines, Armagnac or Gaillac. Choose a regional cheese to accompany it too. If you like shopping, the city’s many small alleys are awash with great boutiques.
