Belgrade - discover Old Europe

As one of Europe’s oldest cities, Belgrade was an important crossroads between east and west. It’s worth sauntering through the artists’ quarter of Skadarlija, which is known for its restaurants, cafés, street performers and open-air theatre. Worth seeing too are the National Museum and the Muzeji Savremene Umetnosti (Museum of Modern Art) in Novi Beograd. In the evening venture over to the right bank of the Danube level with the Hotel Yugoslavia and discover the many restaurants, pubs, clubs and coffee houses on fixed houseboats.
