Can I change flight connections?
You can change the travel date of the booked Germanwings flight up to 2 hours before departure either online or by contacting our call centre.
Online you can change your booking as usual in the “My Germanwings” section by entering your username and password. We levy a charge for changes to the booking per person and per leg (leg here means from the departure airport to the final destination). If the flight fare originally booked is no longer available, you must also pay the difference to the valid fare of the flight at the time the change is made.
If you change the booking over the phone, we also levy a flat-rate handling fee.
If your booking consists of an etix® ticket number and/or a Germanwings flight booked by one of our partner airlines, please contact the respective airline or travel agency to make a change to the booking.
You can make changes to names by contacting the Germanwings call centre by giving your booking code up to 2 hours before departure. Please click here for the costs arising from a name change. If the current flight fare is higher than the original fare, the difference must be paid.
You cannot, unfortunately, change the flight destination.
If your booking consists of an etix® ticket number, we are unfortunately unable to change names.
