Germanwings: Seat reservation

Where would you like to sit? On the aisle? By the window? You choose! You can reserve a seat in advance on all your Germanwings flights. We only charge a 6 € fee per seat per flight. For flights within Germany VAT must be added. Seat reservation is free for FlexPlus customers and bookings made with the new Germanwings card. If you don't reserve a seat, you will automatically be allocated one when you check in.

It’s easy to reserve your seat up to 3 hours before departure – during the online booking process, via the call centre or at the airport desk. Online you can do so in the second step of the reservation (“Select additional services”) by clicking on the seat you want in the chart. Once you have completed the booking process, you can reserve your seat subsequently by going to the My Germanwings section. You can also reserve seats after booking via the call centre or at the airport desk. If you want to reserve seats for a group, please contact our group department.

We unfortunately cannot reserve seats for infants under 2 travelling on an adult's lap with a loop-belt. .

Where there are flight connections you can reserve your seat for all legs in advance. There is a reservation fee for each single leg.
