How much does it cost to change a booking?
Subject to availability, we offer customers the opportunity to change bookings within the same (originally booked) or next available booking category.
The flat fee for booking changes is £23/€26/44CH/49USD/799CZ/249SEK/3099ISK per person per European flight. For flights within Germany this fee adds up to 30.94 € (incl. 19% VAT) per person and route.
If you booked a FlexPlus ticket you naturally do not have to pay any fee for booking changes. If the new fare is higher than the original fare, you will simply be required to pay the difference in addition to the rebooking fee.
For booking changes made by telephone, we make an additional processing charge of £7/€8/12CH/12USD/229CZ/79SEK/959ISK per person per European flight. For flights within Germany this fee adds up to € 9.52 (incl. 19% VAT). This processing charge does not apply to online booking changes.
If you cannot travel on a flight and wish to transfer your ticket to someone else, you may do so by paying a name change fee of € 35 per person and booking. If the current flight fare is higher than the price originally paid for your ticket, the difference in price must also be paid.
