How do I book a flight for a child or infant?
Flights for children over 2 and infants travelling on an adult’s lap using a loop-belt can be easily booked in the “Booking” area of our website.
Germanwings allows you to travel with infants in the following ways:
- The infant in a child seat on its own separate seat (You can only book by contacting the call centre or at a Germanwings airport desk. You cannot book online.)
- The infant on an adult’s lap using a loop-belt
Please make sure that children under 12 are booked under the reservation of the accompanying person (same booking number). Otherwise please contact the call centre on +44 (0) 870 252 12 50 (Opening hours: 7am - 8pm) up to 3 days before departure.
