How do I book a flight for a child or infant?
Flights for infants, who are travelling on a parent’s lap, as well as flights for children over 2 can be easily booked in the “booking” area of our website.
Germanwings allows you to travel with infants in the following ways:
- The infant in a child seat in its own separate seat (You can only book by contacting the call centre or at a Germanwings airport desk. You cannot book online.)
- The infant on an adult’s lap using a loop-belt
Please make sure that children under 12 are booked under the reservation of the accompanying person (same booking number). Otherwise please contact the call centre up to 3 days before departure.
