Can I use a child seat on board?
Germanwings also allow infants (under 2) to be carried in a child seat approved by us, if they have their own seat booked for them.
More information on booking here.
Make sure your child seat has the “for use in aircraft” (TÜV seal) on it. The following seats are just some that have this seal:
- Storchenmühle Maximum SP, ID 2711305500
- Maxi Cosi Mico, ID 8011000571
- Maxi Cosi Citi, ID 8811410300
- Luftikid Uno / Duo, ID 7011000571
- Römer King Quickfix, ID 8811400300, licence number 03301122
- Römer Baby Safe or Plus, licence numbers 03301146 and 04301146
Please note:
Child seats are not provided by Germanwings. Passengers must bring their own seats!
Children can also be carried on their parent’s lap using a so-called “loop-belt”.
