Can I use a child seat on board?
Germanwings also allow infants (under 2) to be carried in a child seat approved by us, if they have their own seat booked for them.

Make sure your child seat has the “for use in aircraft” (TÜV seal) on it. The following seats are just some that have this seal:

- Child seats are not provided by Germanwings. Passengers must bring their own seats!
Children can also be carried on their parent’s lap using a so-called “loop-belt”. - If you want to use your own child seat on board, you must check in at the airport desk, so that we can check it meets our requirements. In such cases we cannot check you in online.
