Are there any costs incurred when booking online at a later date?
No, booking online at a later date is completely free. If you select extra paying services, you simply pay the standard supplements for each service.
Please note that if you register luggage or excess luggage online before the flight, you save up to 60% on the supplement you would pay at the airport desk!
Payment by Germanwings card and direct debit is free. There is a reduced transaction fee if you pay with a credit card.
You can only take advantage of Germanwings card benefits if the original flight booking was paid for with a Germanwings card.
Please note that direct debit payments are only possible from a German account and at the latest 7 days before departure.
