Barcelona is an architectural masterpiece, not least thanks to the architect Antoni Gaudí. Particularly impressive are Barcelona’s emblem, the “Sagrada Familia” and the “Casa Milà” apartment building. With its curved façade and outlandish sculptures it looks other-worldly. There are more masterpieces in the Museo Picasso. The Barri Gòtic area is a good place for a leisurely stroll with its many small shops. And the city’s unique charm oozes from Barcelona’s magnificent boulevard, the Ramblas.
