Pisa – famous Tuscan tower

Travelling to and from Pisa Airport (PSA)

Car:

Pisa Airport is right next to the motorway. From Florence on the A11 take the “Pisa Centro – Aeroporto” exit. From the north and south take the A12 motorway to the “Pisa Centro” exit and from Pisa itself take the “Aurelia” SS1 superstrada south to the airport.

Bus:

CPT buses leave every 10 minutes to the centre of Pisa. A one-way ticket costs €1 and can be bought from the information desk in the terminal or at the ticket machines. The bus stop is right in front of the arrivals hall.

Rail:

Pisa Airport has its own train station, right outside the departures area. There are trains to Pisa every 20 minutes. There are also direct services to Florence. You can buy tickets at the information desk in the terminal.

Taxi:

The taxi rank is in front of the arrivals area. Fares to Pisa cost between €6 and €8. Please make sure the taxi driver switches on the taximeter when you leave.

At Pisa Airport (PSA)

Pisa Airport is the most important in Tuscany and is just 2 km south of the city. Florence is around 45 minutes away by car.

There are various parking areas at the airport with around 2500 parking spaces.
