Travelling to and from Brussels Airport (BRU)

Car:

To get to the airport take the R0 motorway, Brussels’ ring road. The airport is east of the Zaventem junction on the A201, around 15 km from Brussels city centre.

Rail:

The airport station is on level -1 of the terminal building. The Airport City Express operates four times an hour to Brussels North, Central and South (Midi) stations. There are also direct services to east, west and southern Belgium.

Bus:

The bus station is beneath the arrivals hall with services run by ‘De Lijn’ and ‘STIB/MIVB’. De Lijn buses operate to Brussels North station, NATO and Roodebeek underground station as well as to other regional stations. The STIB/MIVB airport express operates every 30 minutes and goes to NATO and EU headquarters.

Taxi:

Taxis can be found outside the arrivals area. Authorised taxis have a yellow-blue sticker and cost around 40 € to the city centre.

Hire cars:

There are centrally-located Sixt and Avis rental locations at all Germanwings destinations. Reserve a car here and get great bargains.

At Brussels Airport (BRU)

Brussels Airport is 12 km northeast of the city centre with flights operating worldwide. More than 260 airlines fly from the airport.

Parking:

Brussels Airport has over 12500 parking spaces, 10600 of which are right next to the terminal building, which is easily accessible on foot. This is the best option for holidaymakers, businessmen or when collecting people. Brussels Airport has various parking options: short-stay, long-stay spaces, plus a VIP parking area. Car park 3 has good rates for holiday parking.
