Travelling to and from Rijeka Airport (RJK)

Car:

There is access from the old town to Rijeka Airport via the E65 motorway and national roads 8 and 102. The airport is well signposted.

Bus:

There is an airport transfer service operated by KD Autotrolej Ltd. It stops at Slatina in Opatija, Jelačić Square in Rijeka and the administration building at Rijeka Airport. The fare is €6-7 and journey time to the city centre is around 30 minutes.

At Rijeka Airport (RJK)

Rijeka Airport is around 30 km from the city centre on the island of Krk and is the biggest traffic hub for tourists on the Adriatic. Over the past few years it has seen steady growth and its modern facilities put it on a par with other international airports.

Parking:

The airport has both short and long-stay parking spaces. You can also park for free for up to 20 minutes outside the arrival and departure area.
