Finding your way to and from the airport

Car:

Take national road 550 (journey time around 30 minutes).

Rail:

Trains run every hour from the airport to the centre of Izmir. Journey time is around 30 minutes.

Bus:

There is a bus that runs to the town centre approximately every 20 minutes (journey time 35 minutes).

Taxi:

There are taxis outside the arrivals hall around the clock.

There are centrally-located Sixt and Avis rental locations at all Germanwings destinations. Reserve a car here and get great bargains.

At the airport

Adnan Menderes Airport is c. 25 km south of Izmir very close to national road 550 and the E87/031 motorway. All tourist resorts in western Turkey are within easy reach.
