Due to the reconstruction of the runways at Rostock Airport no Germanwings flights will operate from or to Rostock from 3th to 13th September 2012.
Passengers affected, who are already booked on Germanwings flights during this period, will be booked onto Germanwings flights to and from Berlin Brandenburg International.

Rostock, the almost 800-year-old university and Hanseatic city is not only the largest town in the north German state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania but is also situated at the centre of Germany’s Baltic Sea coastal bathing resorts. Rostock owes its significance to the Baltic Sea and it owes its name to the River Warnow. “Roztoc” is Slavic and refers when translated to the “flowing apart” of the wide river channel of the Warnow between the town’s port and Warnemünde.
