Travelling to and from the airport Bucharest Otopeni (OTP)

Taxi:

There are taxis in front of the airport terminal. Journey time to the city is around 20 minutes. We would suggest you agree on a fare before you move off. In Romania a 10% tip is customary.

Bus:

Bus number 783 takes around 40 minutes from Otopeni Airport to the city centre. It leaves from the station on the lower floor of the terminal.
From Monday to Friday before 8 pm it leaves every 15 minutes and then every 30 minutes in the evening and at the weekend. There are underground connections to North Station from the Piata Victoriei and Piata Unirii stops. Bus number 205 goes from the Piata Presei Libere stop to North Station.

Hire cars:

There are centrally-located Sixt and Avis rental locations at all Germanwings destinations. Reserve a car here and get great bargains.

Bucharest Otopeni Airport is 16 km north of the city centre.

Parking:

There are parking spaces available opposite the terminal.

Check-in:

Germanwings check-in desks are located in the departure hall, area A, desks 25 and 26.
